JAMES WALTER BROWN, born 25 March 1931 in Pleasants County, W.Va., was the son of Robert Arnold Brown and Lennis Leila Hutchinson. The family is found in the 1940 census of Pleasants County, W.Va. Parents and siblings of James (Jimmy) are in St. Marys in 1950 but he was not listed. He had enlisted in the U.S. Army 5 January 1949.
