     At least three sons of William S. and Mary Ann McHenry served in the Civil War. James S. served in Company "E" of the 10th W.Va. Infantry Regiment; Jacob and Samuel were in Company "F" of the 14th W.Va. Infantry.

     William McHenry was the son of Jonathan and Sarah McHenry but nothing is known beyond Jonathan. Any information about this family will be appreciated.

Mustered out 09 Aug 1865 at Buckhannon, W.Va. Farmer born Pleasants Co.W.Va. Re-enlisted as Veteran Volunteer 20 Mar 1864 at Beverly, W.Va. under General Order #191 War Dept Series of 1863. Corporal.

Born 02 Nov 1842, son of William S. & Mary Ann Williamson. Married Sarah F. Williamson, d/o Henry J. & Eliza Williamson, 15 Sep 1870, Pleasants County. Died June 28, 1921; buried Freeland Cemetery, Pleasants County.
