William E. Bills, born in Virginia 15 Dec 1784, was the son of John E. and Ruth Morgan Bills. William died 11 Oct 1850, St. Marys, Tyler Co., Virginia. He is buried in St. Marys Pioneer Park Cemetery, St. Marys, Pleasants Co., West Virginia.

William E. Bills married (1) Phebe Hoskinson, on 3 October 1805, in Monongalia Co., VA, by John W. Patterson. [Monongalia Co. Marriage Bond, 8 Sept. 1805, John Bills, surety.]; (2) Martha Alley, 7 May 1812, Greene Co., PA, by J. P. James Dye. Witnesses included two younger brothers, John and Elijah Alley.

From widows pension granted in 1872 to Martha Alley Bills (No 1372), Drafted at Ohio County, Va. 25th day of April 1814 in Captain John Bonnett's Company of Virginia Militia, and discharged at Norfolk, Va. 30 day of August 1814.

JOHN S. HAMMETT was born 1785 in Leesburg, Loudoun Co., VA, and died April 03, 1834 in Parkersburg, Wood Co., VA (WV). He married Frances Saunders1 March 22, 1806 in Loudoun Co., VA, daughter of Thomas Saunders and Ann ???. She was born 1786 in VA, and died November 25, 1856 in Montgomery Co., MO.

John S. Hammett: John died of consumption, his grave marker in the Hammett Cemetery, Pleasants County, WV is weather beaten and hard to read, but must be his. Volunteered at Loudoun Co, VA for war of 1812, Pvt/Cpl in Capt. Benj. Shreeve's 57 Regt of VA Militia, Col. Armstead T. Mason, Served 17 Sep-27 Nov 1814. Discharged at Baltimore. He moved to Wood Co. [VA/WV] 1828.

RALPH WILSON, the son of James and Elizabeth Wilson, served in Captain John Botkin's Company, Virginia Militia. He was honorably discharged at Moorefield, Hardy County, Virginia on the first week in March, 1815. He is buried in Jonestown Cemetery, Pleasants County, WV.
