Searching for Bradley DALTON/DOLTON and Dolly (Dorraty) ROBINSON/ROBERTSON
who lived in Greenbrier County late 1790's and then Monroe County by 1799.
Bradley and Dorraty sold 35 acres on Indian Creek June 26, 1798 to Phillip
Wykle. It was part of a survey for David Scarbrough. Also listed in Deed
Book A pp, 224-225 Monroe Co WVa. I'm also interested in William Robinson
who lived in the same area and possibly same land on Indian Creek. Thanks

Monroe. Samuel is found in 1782 Greenbrier census, 1799 Monroe census,
then Margaret in 1810 Monroe census, but not Samuel, although he didn't
die until 1814. Land records show Samuel on Telties Run, later Indian
Creek. Is Telties & Indian the same river? IF not where's Telties.
Where was Samuel in 1810? Campbell's have live on Indian for over 100

I'm the genealogist for the Sons of Confederate Veterans camp #1863 here
in Grundy, Buchanan Co., Virginia. A cemetery was recently moved here
in the county and a fieldstone with the name of John Conaway was located.

at the LDS research center that has a lot of information on it. It has

William Leach was born in 1740 in Northampton Co, Va. He married Susannah

Greenbrier Co.) Cottrell and Sarah(Sally) had 14 children: Jane, Joseph,
William, Judy, Cottrell, John, James , Thomas, Hemphill, Madison, Mary(Polly),
Sarah, Wilson, Lorenzo. Sarah Lively b. 16 Apr.1813 near Orchard, Monroe,
VA. She married in 7Mar 1833 in Monroe Co.,VA to Anderson son of William
and Elizabeth (Miller) Smith . Sarah and Anderson had 11 children: Daugher
who died young, Mary, Lewis, Sarah Jane, Lorenzo, Caleb Pierce, William
Preston, Elizabeth, Leroy Chester, Andrew J. and George A. Sarah and Anderson
moved to Nodaway Co., MO around the late 1850's. Sarah d. 27July 1897
and is buried in Swinford ! Cem., Nodaway Co., MO. Anderson d. 7Jan. 1894
and is also buried in Swinford Cem. in Nodaway Co, MO. I think the Swinford's

I am searching for information on Silas Duncan. He was born in NJ in 1788,
enlisted in the US Navy. His career lasted a lifetime and he was in comman
on the ships: Independence, Hornet, Guerriere, Cyane, & Ferret. He
lost most of his right arm during the Battle of Lake Champlain. He retired
with the rank of commander. He died at White Sulphur Springs WV in 1834.
I want/need any information available, esp. his obit.
