Monroe co. W. Va.. born @ Oct. 1,1814, and moved to Jackson Co. ohio with
her parents when she was a teenager, she married Alfred J. PAGE on July
2,1835 in Jackson Co. Ohio, they had(4) children, James Milton Page born
Aug. 15,1837. Elizabeth O. Page Salts Daniel (O.??) Page and Nancy Emaline
Ann Page Depue. Nancy Ann McGhee and Alfred J. page moved to Vinton Co.
Ohio shortly after they were married. Nancy died July 15,1880 in Vinton
Co. Ohio, and is buried in Hixon Hill Cemetery in Dundas Ohio. Any info
on Nancy Ann McGhee parents or sibblings would be greatly appreciated.

Gilber S Waddle b March 1873 with wife Eliza D who was born in abt 1885.

EHRHARDT etc family of Monroe County. On the 5th of October 1836, from
Gallia County, Ohio, Abraham Eaheart wrote his brother Michael. "I
sold my possessions in Giles Co. I hold possessions in Monroe Co., I sold
my property in Giles in March 1835 and then I removed to Monroe County
and seated my family there and went on to the land sales in the Northwest
part of Indiana. I don't expect to be back to Monroe before August next.
On the 17th of May 1836, Monroe Co. I have settled within nine miles of
Red Sulfer Springs. Have any information on this family, especially Abraham
Eaheart married to Judith Kirk with children William Kirk Eaheart married
to Elizabeth Sarah Clark, Abraham married to Sarah Shufflebarger, Nancy,
Sarah married to Ezekiel Duncan, Margaret (Peggy) married to William Snavely,

Requesting information on James ALEXANDER (b. 1750, Beverly Manor,
VA, d. 1814, Union, WVa), who donated the land for the founding of Union
and was one of its first settlers. In particular, I would like confirmation
of the birth of his son, Andrew (b. 1773 in Union, d. Princeton, WVa).
Andrew was mentioned in the will of James' wife, Isabella ERSKINE, but
not in the county history of Monroe County. When I visited Union several
years ago, the ALEXANDER file was missing from the library genealogy files.

who married Elizabeth WILLIAMS (dau. of Wm. WILLIAMS and Elizabeth BURKS)
15 Feb 1836 in Monroe County. He appears on Tazewell Co, VA Census records
1850-1870. It is believed that he is a son of Solomon BROYLES,the son
of Peter BROYLES and Elizabetha BLANKENBAKER,the son of Hans Jacob BROYLES
and Maria Catharina FLEISCHMAN,the son of John BROYLES and Ursula who
immigrated to Germanna colony in 1717. Peter Broyles had a brother named
Zacharias who married Delilah Clore, and he ALSO had a Solomon BROYLES.
There are 2 marriages listed for Solomon BROYLES, and both lines claim
both wives!!! ANYWAY, 3 generations of Allen's descendants have tried
to determine his parentage to no avail. I would sincerely appreciate any
help on this, and I am willing to share any info. I may have on these
families.

around 1900. They lived on Pyne Mountain just south of Union. Their oldest
son is buried in Dropping Lick and I thought that is were they would be

SCOTT/PRYOR(PRIOR) Looking for any information about the family of
Joseph SCOTT who was born September 3, 1773, in Virginia, possibly near
Alderson in Greenbrier County, formerly Montgomery County and now Monroe
County in West Virginia. His father is thought to be John SCOTT, and his
mother's maiden name is thought to be PRIOR or PRYOR, a name which keeps
reappearing in the Scott family, but so far no documentation exists for
this. This family left for Kentucky in 1777 when Joseph was 4 years old.
