Freda Brown - I am looking for information on the first wife of my Ggrandfather: Rev. Tom Robinette (Uncle Tom), s/o Addison (Babe) Robinette and Sarah Wolford. He lived at Union City near Iaeger. His second wife was Lucy Blankenship, but she is not the mother of my grandmother, Laura Ann. I have searched for a birth certificate for Laura but haven't found one yet. I have inquired from half sisters but they don't know. They said Tom never did talk about it. Hope someone can solve the mystery for me.

Green had 7 children with his wife Martha BURTON, and my husband's great-grandfather, Robert Lee, was their youngest (b. 1885, d. 1940) Green built his family home in Bramwell, WV. Robert married Hawsey BURTON (b. 1891, d. 1919) and they had 8 children until her untimely death during childbirth with the eighth child. Their son Ernest Perry (b. Jan 21, 1914 and d. Dec 16, 1996) is my husband's grandfather. Ernest was born in Maybeury, WV but the family ultimately moved to Wise, VA.

Brenda Collins Dillon - From 1850-1870, the family of John W. Collins (b 1797; s/o Meredith Collins) resided in McDowell Co, and according to Early Families of McDowell County, at Dick's Creek. He disappears after the 1870 census but I have never found a death record. If anybody knows anything about this man I would sure appreciate the help.
