This is a picture of my grandfather, William Anderson Quigley, the first Chief of Police in the Borough of West View, Pa. He was born in Pa on 11/28/1873. He became the first Chief of the West View PD on 09/13/1913. He died as a result of an accident on his motorcycle on 09/27/1927.

His name will be added to the National Memorial of Law Enforcement Officers in Washington, DC on the 13th of May, this year. See National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund

William is one of the Great Grandsons of John Maywood Quigley and Mary Patterson of Marshall County, West Virginia.
