Third Annual Riggs Reunion
August 18th, 1929
The third annual Riggs reunion was held at
A letter was read from Sherman Fisher of Moundsville
suggesting changing the time of meeting to sometime other than the
Sabbath. It was moved and seconded to
table the letter, with all due respects to the writer, because a larger number
would be able to attend on Sunday than any other day. Dr. Chauncey Lively, who favored us with a
short talk, said that he was sure that we could feel as spiritual leaving a
reunion after renewing old acquaintances as we would had we attended church
services.
