Genealogical Gold - Family Reunions

Submitted by Joseph D. Parriott.

The 1930s were the 'Golden Age' of huge family reunions. It was not unusual for 100 to 300 people to attend these events.
Shown below are family surnames and the date that a listing of names of those attending the reunion was published in the Moundsville Echo or the Moundsville Journal. A micro-filmed copy of these newspapers is on file at the Moundsville-Marshall County Public Library. All publishing is in the Echo, except where noted as Journal.
