Mahala J. Roberts
Mahala J. Roberts, wife of James P. Roberts, dies at her home on
Upper Seven Mile, near near Coxs Landing, April 7, 1915.
She died of dropsy of the heart and was about 66 years of age.
Her illness was quite a duration - about a year. She died in a
triumphant faith, leaving the testimony that she was going to meet
the loved ones who had gone on before.
She leaves a companion, one son, Sidney P. Roberts, living with
his father, and one daughter, Mrs. George L. Godby, of Mount Hope,
WV, and a number of friends to mourn her death.
She was placed in the Arthur cemetery, on Big Cabell creek.
Funeral services were conducted by the Rev. J. R. M. Kapp. ---------
